The CPC identity

Practical care.
A recognisable voice.

A guide to using Cerebral Power Conditioning’s identity in website content, workshop materials and communications.

What we stand for

Support that feels useful in your working day.

CPC helps managers and team leaders in smaller businesses build practical workplace resilience skills. Our identity should feel warm, capable and straightforward: professional enough to earn trust, human enough to invite a conversation.

Keep the offer clear. We deliver in-person workshops that help your managers notice change, listen and respond constructively. We don’t present workplace training as therapy, diagnosis or crisis support.

Our signature

One identity, used with care.

  • Keep the original proportions and colours. Don’t stretch, rotate or rebuild the logo as text.
  • Leave clear space around the full logo at least as tall as the letter C in the CPC lettering.
  • Keep the small wordmark readable. Use the compact mark when space is too limited.
  • Place the logo on white or ivory. Use a light backing on dark backgrounds, not directly over a busy photograph.

These assets are for materials representing CPC. If you’re unsure about a new use, ask hello@cerebralpowerconditioning.com.

Calm with clarity

Our core palette.

Blue provides recognition and a clear action colour. Ivory, sage and restrained pastel accents bring warmth without distracting from the words.

Three appearance choices, the same brand

The website offers Calm, Clear and Evening. These are visual preferences, not an assessment of someone’s mood or wellbeing. Content and navigation stay the same.

The swatches show fixed brand colours even when you change appearance. Use dark text on pale colours, and check contrast for each combination; not every pairing is suitable for text.

Character and readability

Warm headlines. Straightforward reading.

Make time to listen.

Notice the change. Ask a thoughtful question. Agree a useful next step.

Headings: Georgia. Use sentence case, a generous line height and occasional italic emphasis. The fallback is Times New Roman, then a system serif.

Body text and controls: Segoe UI. Keep paragraphs short and comfortably spaced. The fallback is Arial, then a system sans-serif. Reserve uppercase for short labels, not full sentences.

How CPC sounds

Speak to the person, not at the business.

  • Write in natural British English. Use contractions such as “you’ll”, “doesn’t” and “we’re”.
  • Address the reader as “you”, “your managers” and “your business”.
  • Be specific about the next action. Prefer “Enquire about a workshop” to “Submit”.
  • Stay reassuring without making promises about someone’s health or guaranteeing business results.
  • Use the four conversation stages consistently: Open, Observe, Ask, Agree.

For example

“Help your managers notice when someone’s struggling and feel more confident starting a supportive conversation.”

Avoid jargon, fear-based selling and unsupported claims such as “eliminate workplace stress”. Explain what people can practise and take back to work.

Human, not generic

Show people and practical connection.

Use genuine CPC team photographs for profiles. For editorial images, favour relatable workplace conversations and everyday working situations. Don’t imply that an illustration, stock photograph or generated image shows a real CPC session or client.

Keep icons simple, rounded and connected to the meaning of the content. Use the bespoke CPC icon style sparingly; an icon should help people scan information, not decorate every paragraph.

Where an article hero uses a photograph or illustration, the colour overlay should remain solid behind the text and fade from left to right, retaining 50% opacity at the far edge. Recheck readability in every appearance mode and on mobile.

The experience matters

Make the next step feel easy.

  • Use rounded buttons with a 30px corner radius and clear, action-led labels.
  • Let spacing do the work. Use subtle shadows and gradients rather than heavy borders or busy effects.
  • Text links change colour on hover, without a coloured background or underline. Keep visible keyboard focus and make links recognisable in context.
  • Keep workshop enquiries the primary commercial action. Free resources should demonstrate the approach and lead naturally to the workshop.
  • Respect reduced-motion preferences. Don’t delay access to words with a typing animation.
  • Use meaningful image descriptions where needed, readable text and controls that work with a keyboard and touch.
